AUP (Acceptable User Policy)

Please read the following and email Cyber Milieu if you have any questions.

Cyber Milieu will accept almost any kind of site including sites with the following content:

• e-commerce sites
• business sites
• personal sites
• legal mp3 sites
• politcal sites (just do not expect us to take sides)
• computer sites
• alien technology sites (alien sites of any kind will be considered)
• educational sites
• non-profit organization sites
• government sites
• health & wellness sites
• information sites
• adult entertainment sites

• child pornography & incest sites
• sites that promote hate, racism or violence of any kind or form
• illegal warez sites

Cyber Milieu owner and staff reserve the right to refuse the use of their web space to any individual, group or business without having to state a reason.

The person who rents the web space or a VPS from Cyber Milieu is responsible for the content on their site. Please keep site content in good taste. We will monitor sites to ensure our terms are met.

Any site that posts items, links to sites, or promotes sites that fall into the categories of sites not allowed will be terminated instantly. When a site is terminated for this reason no refund will be made on any funds already received by Cyber Milieu.

Spamming is not acceptable. All spam complaints will be investigated. Complaints found to be accurate will result in the termination of your account with no refund payable.

Hacking or intruding on another site will result in instant and permanent termination and possible legal action against the offending party(ies). No refund for funds already received by Cyber Milieu will be repaid.

We believe in and promote security and privacy on the web. If Cyber Milieu makes a recommendation to you to increase security on your site we do hope you will follow suggestions, recommendations and/or instructions. Please ensure you or your website designer understands this policy as you can be asked to remove your site if our recommendations for security are not met. If you lose your website space because of security issues there will be no refund. Cyber Milieu may fix the security issue and you could be billed for the time involved.

We cannot guarantee 100% up time for the sites. We do not believe it is possible for anyone to guarantee 100% uptime.

We will state 'unlimited bandwidth' as most sites will not use excessive bandwidth. When your site starts to get 5,000 hits a day (the actual ceiling may be higher than this) then you will be contacted and we can discuss alternatives. Using multimedia and cams on a site can consume a great deal of bandwidth. Sites using these can expect to have bandwidth limitations.

Faulty programming on a web site can affect an entire server. Ensure your coding/scripts are working properly. Cyber Milieu staff time devoted to repairing your coding and/or scripts will result in billing the site owner for time involved. If the coding on your site continually affects the performance of the server it is located on, then the site will be suspended till coding compiles properly.

Cyber Milieu accepts no responsibility for any possible damage that could in any way result to a person or their property, be it mental, physical, material or any other form, from viewing sites located with Cyber Milieu or using the services offered by Cyber Milieu.

Cyber Milieu will attempt to keep this a healthy experience for all involved.
